    This is a great complement to @X's community notes system, which results in less “reach” (thus monetization) for content annotated as inaccurate. You don't need a Ministry of Truth to incentivize truth online.

    I appreciate that I get like a hundred Elon Bucks a month for my terrible posting habit here, but it's pretty hard to deny that turning Twitter into a revenue-sharing scheme has absolutely decimated the quality of the site.
