    Two of the worst companies I've had to deal with.  Stripe doesn't care if your use case doesn't fit the exact shape of their APIs but will gladly sell you more APIs for the bare minimum (tax, fraud protection).  Pushes Link, which confuses customers.  PayPal, well, everyone knows…

    This would be both a) fantastic because I wouldn't need separate PayPal and Stripe integrations anymore but also b) awful because I'd be way too dependent on one company [embedded post]

    What the hell problem will this solve for Stripe; they're fantastic and Paypal is... not. Stripe: “Look, we can either invest years learning to be absolute dogshit at talking to customers and resolving their problems, or we can hire a company who's already mastered it.”
