    If Anthropic's ARR goes to infinity by year end, it's bullish for chips guys

    @anthropicai Your AI hates Whites & Asians, especially Chinese, heterosexuals and men.  This is misanthropic and evil.  Fix it.  Frankly, I don't think there is anything you can do to escape the inevitable irony of Anthropic ending up being Misanthropic.  You were doomed to this …

    We're proud to co-lead @AnthropicAI's Series G and to deepen our commitment to a team we believe will shape this phase of AI by combining state-of-the-art performance with an equally strong commitment to responsible development

    A huge part of this raise is Claude Code. Weekly active users doubled since January. People who've never written a line of code are building with it. Humbled to work on this every day with our team.

    As AI scales across the enterprise, the question is no longer if it will transform work, but whether it can be trusted to do so responsibly, at scale, and for the work that matters most. We're honored to co-lead @AnthropicAI's Series G and double down on a company we believe [ima…

    There are reasons to argue about financial bubbles in the funding of data centers, but it is increasingly clear from the numbers that the frontier AI companies are showing that AI is, indeed, a very massive business with high demand and rapid growth rates.

    We've raised $30B in funding at a $380B post-money valuation. This investment will help us deepen our research, continue to innovate in products, and ensure we have the resources to power our infrastructure expansion as we make Claude available everywhere our customers are.

    Less than 5 years ago, Anthropic raised ~$124M in its Series A at a ~$500M valuation. Today, it's raising $30B at a $380B valuation with ~$14B in ARR. Absolutely nuts. [image]

    Anthropic is at $14B run rate revenue, the fastest growing software business of all time. - Claude Code run rate is $2.5B in <1yr - $0 -> $100M -> $1B -> $14B in 3yrs - $100k+ customers 7x'd last year - $1M+ customers 40x'd last year, 500+ - 4% of Github commits by CC Insane. [im…

    It's crazy that like a ~1.5 years ago OpenAI had a year long lead ahead of everyone else, they were literally unstoppable. Even today Elon, Zuck, MS, Amazon, etc. all with their enormous advantages and many times the capex still haven't really caught up. Only Google is even close

    Today, @AnthropicAI announced a $30B fundraise at a $380B valuation. They earned it by focusing on what others overlook: Trust. @DarioAmodei , @DanielaAmodei , and the team understood before anyone else that the winners in the AI era will be the ones the world trusts most.

    $30bn raised from a *telethon* of investors.  This is insane.  Never seen anything like it in my life.  Anthropic is scraping every barrel dry, and guess what?  This barely covers the $21 billion in orders it has with Broadcom, let alone the projected $12bn in training costs this…

    Note: There is no function by which we can tell if this is ‘cash’ or just bullshit.  —  And Nvidia and Microsoft; parties we KNOW are not using real cash are cited as making up ‘a portion’ of that $30B but never which portion or how much.
