    IMO for stuff like this Apple should be more willing to ship it in beta, as in preview it for people running the beta releases behind a toggle. Doesn't have to ship to customers until it's more stable.

    This is what happens when a company bets big on a niche headset while rivals pour everything into AI. That said, Apple has hardware lock-in with the iPhone. Those customers are going nowhere, and certainly not switching to Android due to AI. That might change, but I really doubt

    Can't say I'm surprised. Apple just can't do AI right it seems.

    If someone with a time machine went back 10 years and gave Apple state of art AI weights, Apple will still fumble it The proof is that they do have those weights and are fumbling today

    The features will still arrive in 2026, which is the only public timeline Apple has ever stated since the 2025 delay.
