hot take: Apple is going to be a big winner in AI - native apps are naturally easier to vibe code, you only break things for individual users - apple ecosystem connects to a bunch of extremely important data like health and messaging that makes AI better - everyone's buying a

I am happy with this release of Xcode 26.3; I was not expecting them to have this integration directly with Claude/Codex so we can directly use our subscriptions [image]

Not to be undone, here's Xcode 26.3 with some agentic coding support baked in (i.e. Claude Code & Codex). One bit that stood out watching the tech talk? It can use a tool to fetch Apple's documentation (that's long been a sore point for me personally with agents). Looks great! [i…

Honestly so cool (and necessary!) to see Xcode break from only releasing large updates once a year to just releasing great stuff throughout the year!

I've made some changes with Codex within Xcode, and yes, this is a very comfortable workflow if you work in Xcode all day and don't want to switch to anything else. Now you have access to the best coding agent right within Xcode with a good UX and DX too.

Xcode 26.3 launched today with a native integration with the Claude Agent SDK, the same harness that powers Claude Code. Devs get the full power of Claude Code (subagents, background tasks, and plugins) for long-running, autonomous work directly in Xcode 🤖

It's really good to see that Apple isn't waiting for WWDC to update the AI features in Xcode 🙌 [image]

Apple has released an MCP server as part of Xcode 26.3! It extends the IDE and requires the IDE to be running and your project open. It can: - Browse + search the Xcode project structure (ls/glob/grep) - Read/write/edit/move/delete files and create groups/dirs - Build the

Apple Cooked a very good default experience IMO

So Xcode manages its own Codex installation (and makes you download it). Not using your system one. [image]
