OpenAI is unsatisfied with some of Nvidia's latest artificial intelligence chips, and it has sought alternatives since last year …
Re: Reuters just now. Oh no! OpenAI is looking to use AI chips for 10% of its future inference compute needs on already publicized deals with AMD, Broadcom, Cerebras, and its own custom AI ASIC. I wonder which company is going to provide the other 90%?
We love working with NVIDIA and they make the best AI chips in the world. We hope to be a gigantic customer for a very long time. I don't get where all this insanity is coming from.
