The interesting thing here is Glyph-encoder. Glyph is GLM paper on context compression similar to DeepSeek-OCR, the release was seemingly prompted by the latter. Glyph optimized text=>image compression for VLM readability. Glyph-encoder uses Glyph embeds for t2i generation? [imag…

GLM-Image is a new image model by @Zai_org with interesting tech, combining an autoregressive approach with diffusion. This is supposed to be excellent for text rendering and also prompt following. Unfortunately the results are not quite as great: [image]

another stronghold of ClosedAI falling? Crisp text rendering with character, product consistency needed for commercial work and no, nano banana pro still suck for vector graphics work. gpt-image is still king here. If you are matching or exceeding, you're on fire @Zai_org

@elonmusk You will never actually own your EV, because it will be useless without the software that you can never remove, replace, or modify And someone will always be able to remotely shut off your car Stick to internal combustion engines with as few computers as possible

Tesla “owners” will be nothing more than long-term hardware custodians. The software will decide whether today is a ‘full braking’ kind of day. Bad move 📛

Stable recurring revenues and profits are better for Tesla and its shareholders. Wall Street loves subscription based companies and Tesla will become one of those. $tsla

Woah, big change for FSD. No purchasing FSD anymore. Makes sense, given where V14 and the value it's about to create. I do feel a little weird having bought FSD in 2020 and still waiting for the realisation of that in FSD (supervised).. hope V14 Lite ships soon.

As a shareholder, this is the best thing ever. It was extremely obvious this would happen and I've been saying it loudly and often... Now it's (still) time for Wall Street to wake up and bake in this ridiculously high margin, sticky, monthly recurring revenue. As a citizen, it's

The move is significant as it detaches Tesla from its promise of delivering unsupervised self-driving to vehicles with FSD since every new FSD customer would only be subscribing for the month rather than buying the promise that their vehicle will eventually be unsupervised
