    This will be the coolest piece of tech if @moxie pulls it off. For those who dont know, Whatsapp's privacy also comes from Moxie - libsignal licensed by Whatsapp runs on the double ratchet algorithm

    It has been cool to see so many people using Confer over the past few weeks, and I've been working to keep scaling up the backend! I remember the early Signal 24hr sustained traffic milestones (1 msg/sec, 10/s, 100/s, ...) and its fun to see traffic climb through those again🥹

    Moxie Marlinspike's Confer extends Signal's privacy model to AI.  Using trusted execution environments, it renders queries opaque to operators.  This open-source framework is a move to reclaim user data from the industry's power players.
