We're updating our Hateful Conduct and Harassment policy to clarify our expectations and make Twitch a safer and more inclusive place for everyone. Learn more before it goes into effect on January 22, 2021: https://link.twitch.tv/3m1209o https://twitter.com/...

Pleased to see some of Twitch's new additions to their “Hateful Conduct & Harassment Policy”. Still a long way to go, but I'm glad to see the steps being taken. Read the rest here: https://blog.twitch.tv/... https://twitter.com/...

This is it. The line has been made. Jan 22, unwelcomed comments are now a bannable offense. Be clear in your channel rules (info section or chat popup), clearly communicated when timed-out, and say it to be firm. Those people are now at fault 100%. https://blog.twitch.tv/... http…

Context is important, I agree. It would be wonderful if @TwitchSupport got back to me on my appeal since you don't want to punish people for good natured banter that's accepted in some communities. #bringbunback 💙 https://twitter.com/... https://twitter.com/...

I'd like to see something done about harassers making “burner” Twitch accounts. Possibly more red tape in making of @twitch accounts? To date, we've banned nearly 200 of my stalker/harassers accounts. https://twitter.com/...

So Twitch is updating its Harassment Policy. Something I've seen a lot of recently in communities has been covered in the Sexual Harassment section. I hope people take note. If someone makes it clear that they're uncomfortable with shit you say, STOP. https://blog.twitch.tv/... h…

I'm reading through Twitch's changes to their user policies at https://blog.twitch.tv/... It's good to see some change, but how does Twitch intend to implement it? I time out/ban repeat offenders, will reporting that user change anything? https://twitter.com/...

I am very thankful for the harassment updates, Twitch can be a scary place sometimes. https://twitter.com/...

I'm happy to report I was involved in the updating of Twitch's Harassment policy. Now, to see them enforce it. https://twitter.com/...

“Although Twitch previously banned hateful images, this is the first time blackface, swastikas and the Confederate flag have been specifically designated as out of bounds. The new language is also more explicit.” - @Shannon_Liao https://www.cnn.com/...

Twitch this morning announced a series of changes aimed at limiting hate speech and harassment. Sexual harassment is a particular focus of the new policies; female streamers have often faced sexism and harassment in the gaming industry. https://www.nytimes.com/...
