@GadgetsBoy Counterpoint: this is what happens when a company rushes an unfinished version of a hotly anticipated product to market for no good reason. The thing goes on sale tomorrow. They should have waited until it was fully baked.

anyways, TL;DR, the OnePlus Watch has nice, but limited hardware and just terrible, incomplete, incapable software. it's a 2014 smartwatch in 2021, or as @greengart put it, a fitness tracker in a smartwatch body. but also it's not a good fitness tracker.
