@UploadVR ... and more than twice the price of the Quest 2, for the same res and lower refresh rate. Colour passthrough and pancake lenses != twice the price. We're going in the wrong friggin' direction.

@UploadVR Quest Pro @ $1500 - Pro Controllers @ $300 = $1200. Sounds like HTC made a me-too answer to the Quest Pro but using something like Quest 2 controllers.

If you are a consumer in Europe and want to play standalone and PC games on HTC's new headset you will have to pay a whopping 1,449 in euros. This includes no exclusive titles that you can't play anywhere else. https://twitter.com/...

100g lighter than Quest Pro is pretty nice assuming the ergonomics are up to par. Seems like a device I'd be tempted to pick up secondhand or with a small discount. https://twitter.com/...

Here's the VIVE XR Elite - a fully self-contained VR headset that supports 6DoF tracking controllers. It's HTC's new standalone that you could see as a competitor of the Quest 2, Quest Pro, and Pico 4... 🤔 This is everything you need to know: https://www.youtube.com/... https://t…

For businesses and arcades I can see this being potentially interesting but for just gaming this feels like a headset disguised as a b2b product and it probably is.

@SkarredGhost @RtoVR It's only $1099! But for the “base version” without anything interesting features expect maybe depth sensor. https://twitter.com/...
