It appears people can once again read tweets when they are not logged in. Last week the company removed the ability to do so and then implemented rate-limits on the amount of tweets people could see.

shaming works lol but also they probably saw a huge drop in traffic and did an oops lol Even if it opens in app a lot of twitter traffic comes from google. I imagine the decision was made seeing most people use Twitter in app, but not considering how they get there intelligently …

Yep, visibility is bouncing back big-time (& quickly). This is how it should have been implemented from the start. And like Google always said, you don't have a lot of time before signals are lost... so the change is working well since it was only a few days. Interesting case :) …
