Cruise announces a 24% headcount reduction. I believe the race to autonomy will be winner take most given once the code is cracked it will be licesnsed to the auto industry. My sense is two autonomy models is all that the western world needs.

Big layoffs at Cruise that mostly target operational staff while keeping the engineering team largely intact. This seems like the right move. This year's expansion plans were wildly premature and they need to work on their tech for another year or two. https://techcrunch.com/...
