Thiel Capital opens an office in Miami, as Peter Thiel and others reportedly look to cut ties with California over a proposed ballot measure to tax billionaires
Peter Thiel's private investment firm opened an office in Miami's Wynwood neighborhood, expanding the billionaire's presence in Florida, Thiel Capital announced Wednesday.

Sir, the Governor does not have the power to “kill” a ballot measure. He has vocally opposed this effort at the state level, but California is a direct democracy state — not a dictatorship.

Billionaires in California were the sheep you could shear forever. But try to skin them and they will be gone forever. All it will leave is a huge budget hole you will eventually be asked to fill. Unfortunately, this lesson will now be learned by California voters the hard way.
