Meta will be scrapping personal AI characters as well in a year or two, I dont envision people will have a great interest in talking to AI Bots. Might have an initial novelty, then fizzle out. Why would I want to talk to an AI character/agent... For business use cases, technical support, questions, transactions, ect.

My guess is Meta will just increase ad load if you opt out. The experience will feel degraded, and many will revert back to opting in.
