12.5% or higher, and I hope this was happening anyway, our economy should have been developed for shocks. Apple leaving Ireland would be horrendous. We should do more to keep them here (world class education and housing for workers), but also develop medium indigenous business.

I hate to think that we were brow-beaten into changing our corporation tax rate. I hate to think that this was pressure from other countries acting in their own interest. It was a deal with the devil but it was our deal, and well-served us, this little rock out in the Atlantic.
