Premier League announces incumbents Sky and TNT(Discovery) have secured domestic rights for four years from 25/26 season for total of £6.7bn, 4% increase on current deal. Not a big surprise given depressed market and lack of major competition. PL ££ double recent Serie A deal.

- BBC Names Royals Accused In Omid Scobie Book Of Commenting On Skin Color Of Harry & Meghan's Son

Given all Sunday games will be made available live as opposed to current situation where just one of the 2pm games are shown, the 4% increase may actually be no increase at all given additional inventory. Sensible move to show all those games, little reason not to.

MLS has signed away it's next 10 years for 2.5x what it got for the last 10 years. Great platform, but that figure for 10 years leaves it trailing behind the biggest football leagues for a decade. Considerably less than say the Premier League makes in a single year. https://twitter.com/...
