Funny how his original story was “The Fed killed Libra” but his receipts are messaging letters from elected politicians. This underscores that Libra died from a bad roll out and shitty government relations led by Marcus. It was not “debanking” as Marcus claimed in earlier posts.

Ex-Meta crypto chief David Marcus says there was no legal or regulatory angle for the government to kill its Libra project and “it was 100% a political kill”

For reasons you can guess at, debanking has been the topic du jour in my Twitter feed. Tyler Durden / ZeroHedge News : FinTech CEOs Expose How Feds Colluded In ‘Debanking’ Schemes ...

Libra couldn't be rolled out as open source because it was a stable coin backed by actual FIAT currencies. Also, “just do it” is definitely not the lesson to learn from Libra. The government always has the last gotcha on whether and when they want to enforce the law.
