This does not mean there is nothing to play and Switch 2 isn't doing well. This is about nothing other than my own personal gaming tastes. Pokopia and Switch 2 are killing it. You'll see this later this week on the sales charts.

Nintendo's stock jumps 8%+, its steepest climb since April 2025, after Pokémon Pokopia, a Switch 2 exclusive released on March 5, sold out at major US retailers

Nintendo Co. shares gained as much as 10.5% in their steepest climb since April as the surprise success …

Hot take: Nintendo's first half of the year is quite lackluster. This is okay personally - but the slate of games they lined up feel very cozy gamer focused which isn't me. Pokopia, Tomodachi Life, and Yoshi are just back to back to back games I don't care for. I have plenty to

What even is this article. Outside of Pokopia, nothing Nintendo is publishing isn't on a physical cart, saving you storage space. Not pictured is the guy saying “if the next 3D Mario is 100gb I'm not sure illl buy it” - guys, it's not going to be larger than 50gb, let alone 100. [image]

Uh... “Switch 2's Holiday sucked and it's a flop” crowd looking awfully silly right about now. Nintendo well on pace to hit the 19m projection for the fiscal year. [image]

While the game was recently rated, they said the decision to can the game is because it didn't meat their quality standards. It's interesting because Ubisoft of 5 years ago wouldn't care about the standards, and they closed a studio that made a super high quality PoP game just

It's kinda amazing the culture divide between the east and the west. Mario Kart World also got price increased in Japan right? The exchange rate sucks for them, so it only equals $70 US, but it is equivalent to a $20 raise in price for them over Switch games. Same as here. They

Oh man, literally the “Nintendo Switch QOL Upgrade path” - they aren't even pretending anymore. On the real, OLED panels are super nice. Probably should have been an optional upgrade at launch.

The “overpriced DLC” that Tears of the Kingdom is, not only broke sales records (18.5m in less than two months), it single-handedly dragged the Nintendo Switch to the best Q1 in the entire console's history. NOT BAD for DLC, eh? [image]

I hope the whole industry listens. The one universally rejected thing in all of gaming has been NFTs. Some hate loot boxes, but some like them. Some hate microtransactions, some like them. Season pass love/hate. But EVERYONE hates NFT's in our video games. Too easy to scam. https://twitter.com/...
