Here is (likely) the new AI model that Twitter is not (since a “settlement” last week) not using EU user data anymore to train - as they are already done training the model... Good job @DPCIreland! 🦾😳 #GDPR #AI

28 NGOs and Consumer Rights Organizations urge the @EU_EDPB to reject #PayOrOkay, as this would be the death of “freely given” consent under #GDPR. The GDPR did not foresee that users have to “buy back” their fundamental rights from hundreds of companies per day.. 😐 [image]

Letter: 28 civil rights organizations, like Ekō and noyb, urge the EDPB to reject Meta's approach of asking EU users to pay or consent to being tracked for ads

@SLikkas @EU_EDPB Fundamental rights are usually exempt or strongly regulated when it comes to transactions, you can't sell your right to vote or your kidney either... For such transactions to be “fair” the price would have to be cents for most newspapers and alike - but higher for tech companies that squeeze a lot more money from the data...

Interesting summary of the #FISA / #TADPF “court” system, which is not even a court. Not sure if the US worries of internal power struggles are justified - the (99.9% similar) #Ombudsperson system has not led to a single case ever being decided..
