FireSprite Games has it rough. They were formed by ex-Liverpool Studios staff when Sony closed them, some years later Sony acquired the new studio. FireSprite even acquired Fabrik Games and now hit with major layoffs. They had 5 games in development, a few are probably canceled. [image]

Sony says it's laying off around 900 employees of its PlayStation division, a reduction of its global headcount of around 8 percent.

Sony has tried time and time again to create their own shooter but has failed heavily. Killzone and Resistance for example were critical and commercial flops. SOCOM was the only successful one they had but they killed both studios that made that series (despite not owning one). https://twitter.com/...
