I wish this hadn't taken so long, but I'm also very glad to see Apple publicly committing to RCS E2EE with Android interoperability. This finally establishes a secure messaging baseline for the vast majority of people (and not a moment too soon).

In my experience running a real T&S team is an expensive, fraught, and thankless job. Facebook/Meta tried a lot of stuff after 2016, but none of it seemed to mesh with the larger company.
