Chiliz has acquired a 24.5% stake in Barca Studios, the Spanish soccer giant's digital-content creation arm.
There *are* some football fans who get a good deal out of Socios, winning competitions, getting tickets, after buying tokens worth less money than the prizes. But that makes no sense as a business model at scale. Far more people have to be losing money to pay for that.
