@danielnewmanUV In my purely personal opinion, giving Chips Act funds should always have been contingent on guaranteed equal access for everyone. My beef with the whole thing was that this wasn't an iron clad requirement for everyone receiving funds. Similar with any taxpayer investment

Kudos to @oxidecomputer! I have to admit I was skeptical when the team started the company. It's a great idea but it just felt like an impossible slog to get there. However @bcantrill and co are incredibly persistent. Genuinely very impressed!

Great thread coming out of @Apple and I look forward to reading the paper. My personal opinion remains that it is obvious LLMs don't “reason” in the way that humans do. They multiply matrices. They're very good at it, but emergent general intelligence this is not
