Opus is usually $5/million input and $25/million output.  The new fast mode is $30/million input and $150/million output!

Opus models have always been “the real SOTA” but have been cost prohibitive in the past. Claude Opus 4.5 is now at a price point where it can be your go-to model for most tasks. It's the clear winner and exhibits the best frontier task planning and tool calling we've seen yet.

...We're excited to announce that Windsurf and Google have entered into an agreement that will help kick-start this next phase.  As part of the agreement, Varun, Douglas, and some members of our R&D team will join Google.  Most of Windsurf's world-class team will continue to build the Windsurf product for the enterprise and enable our customers to maximize the outcomes from adopting this technology.  Effective immediately, Jeff Wang, Windsurf's Head of Business, has stepped into the role of interim CEO.
