Lip-Bu Tan resigned from the board in protest last year, so the return as the next CEO is an interesting if unsurprising development.  I'd interpret this as positive overall for Intel, as it needs engineering leadership—not an accountant—to navigate out of an engineering problem.  [embedded post]
