My frustration with this article is that the existence of iOS apps isn't enough to matter, IMO. These apps have to have a reason to exist on VisionOS and compel you to use them over other devices. VLC wasn't bad on HoloLens, but there was little reason to want to use it.

I have a HoloLens I got through VLC. I was one of the first to build and deploy it. It was great! The videos looked fabulous and required little work to get running. After testing it, I closed the app and never opened it again. No reason to. https://www.theverge.com/...
