wow, this is a loss, nobody did in depth technical evaluation of hardware like AnandTech.  I constantly referred to their work as a journalist and still used it to understand things afterwards.  Much respect to the staff for never letting it get shittified, even after an acquisition https://www.anandtech.com/...

agree, the social features were a misstep.  I used them once, just to test, and then never posted anything ever again. but I read hundreds and hundreds of links in the app and used it every single day for news.
