If the Meta x Ray-Ban Smart Glasses do not win several organizations' Product of the Year awards, it would be fair to question bias against the Meta brand.  The ability to take photos, record videos, have a reliable microphone for calls and have Meta AI within reach, all under stylish sunglasses with a small form factor, is truly impressive.  Enhancing daily life while looking nothing like Snap's Spectacles, with a one-time charge, does deserve praise.

Canadian government asks social media platforms (that share news) for unwarranted compensation, and then the platform turns off the news.  The public loses.  EU imposes aggressive regulations on the biggest tech platforms (which provide the most popular digital products), and then the platforms get selective about their rollouts.  The public loses.  Is there a pattern here?  Asking for a friend...

Sources: Apple made generative AI a tent-pole project after Craig Federighi and John Giannandrea spent weeks testing ChatGPT and found Siri to be antiquated

Apple plans to announce that it will bring generative A.I. to iPhones after the company's most significant reorganization in a decade.

Now that Google announced that it will acquire the licensed data from Reddit to train, it would be fascinating to see the LLM's take on how the GameStop frenzy evolved.  Having access to the timeline and the comments of the users, I wonder if the model will understand how such an international movement in the financial markets gained the momentum it did.

Many redditors say they are not enthusiastic about Reddit's IPO and expect CEO Steve Huffman to run the site into the ground while trying to make it profitable

There's the mention of r/WallStreetBets.  (Five mentions in total, actually.)  There's the stockpile it's amassed of Bitcoin and Ethereum.

You think so?  $META connects people globally, while also allowing domestic and international brands to be found and grow rapidly, especially if they offer products in the D2C space.  While $NVDA powers all tech that carries our civilization forward.  Sure, it is used by gamers and AI bros but those devices also accelerate the speed of information sharing, scientific research etc.

Meta's stock rises 20%+, adding ~$200B to its market cap, the biggest single-session market value addition, eclipsing Apple's and Amazon's $190B gains in 2022

- Stock also holds record for the biggest wipeout in history  — Shares surge after big earnings beat, buyback, dividend plans

Although, I personally think even vaccines (saving human lives is the main requirement to improve or continue the condition of humanity) wouldn't be invented, researched, or tested this fast if it wasn't for the power of chipmakers like Nvidia.  Same goes for Meta.

Very interesting points.  Highly likely.  The problem is most agencies are garbage at performance marketing, but pretty good in sales.  So, they will most likely continue to push less optimal approaches, delaying this transition.  Advantage+ Targeting and automated improvements already show how incredible Meta Ads are on leveraging AI. …
