In 2023, the DoJ charged James Ellingson aka Redandwhite, the alleged “hitman” that Ulbricht hired to do the killings. The hitman was actually a scammer and just faked the ‘proof’ pics and kept the cash. But Ulbricht thought he was paying for killings. https://www.justice.gov/... [image]

Trump pardons Silk Road creator Ross Ulbricht, a crypto and libertarian cult hero serving a life sentence since 2015 on money laundering, drug charges, and more

Ross Ulbricht was serving a life sentence for creating a site in a shady corner of the internet to sell heroin, cocaine and other illicit substances.

James Ellingson, the “hitman” hired by Ross Ulbricht, has not yet been tried. I'm curious how if Trump's DoJ will try him for scamming poor Ulbricht, who paid good money for those murders. https://www.justice.gov/...

A court found that Ross Ulbricht probably paid $730,000 to supposed contract killers to murder at least five people who could expose his darkweb drugs marketplace. The hits weren't charged criminally, but did contribute to his harsh sentence. Trump just pardoned him.

The issue isn't that Trump Media stock fell off a cliff today. It's that the company, with less than $1m revenue a quarter and no real expansion plans still has a market cap of $3.1bn. By rights these should be penny stocks.

Yeah this isn't going to go well for Musk. The ADL aren't morons. Their public statements are reviewed by lawyers etc. They phrase stuff precisely and carefully. Which statements are supposedly defamatory anyway? Musk doesn't identify them. [image]
