@K_krazy_xoxo I'm more inclined to think they'll adapt to the new law and we'll see more cases similar to when Apple was asked to remove the police locator app from its store in 2019. An anti-doxxing law is surely easier to digest than a national security law...

A trade group representing Google, Facebook, Amazon, Apple and others said changes to a Hong Kong privacy law could stop firms from providing services in the city.

The briefing paper on the planned legislative amendments said that service providers could be served with removal notices, and it may be an offence not to comply with these notices. Facebook does this for other governments, so fear of the unknown seems to be the real issue here. https://twitter.com/...
